RIDE N SCOOT
Students had a great time with Ride n Scoot and hopefully they will be inspired to get out and about on their wheels in their spare time. Road safety was included in health lessons.
It was noted that some bikes and scooters were in need of some maintenance and some helmets in need of adjusting.

Our Jump Off Day is planned for next Tuesday 22nd November. There will be continuous skipping Grade by Grade for up to 3 hours. Children are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation to contribute to the Heart Foundation.

Thank you for getting involved in Jump Rope for Heart!
SWIMMING
YEAR 2 - Remember to send your child prepared for a swim for sport Wednesday afternoons. There is no cost for these extra lessons which will continue each Wednesday for the next two weeks.
Years 3 & 4 are also doing weekly swimming to progress their water safety and Year 5 & 6. Stage 3 Elective Sport has now finished. All students will now participate in swimming for sport each Friday (up until Week 8) $4 per week.
Please note - We would like to continue to send the students to the pool when it is safe to do so, however, with the rain predicted over the term - we are asking that parents/carers pack a rain poncho in your child's bag together with their swimmers to allow them to walk to and from the pool in case of wet weather. If you would prefer your child not to swim in wet weather, please contact your child's class teacher.
BASKETBALL GALA DAY
Two teams from Year 6 travelled to Port Macquarie on Thursday to take part in a Basketball Gala Day. Congratulations to all boys who took part. All have grown in leaps and bounds with their basketball skills. A big thank you to Meghan Kemp who has generously donated her time to help out with basketball training and promoting the game in our school.
