Following on from our Grow Sustainability incursion last week, we will be hosting a competition asking students to share photos of their healthy waste free lunch boxes. All students who share their photos will be placed in a hat. Winner will receive a new waste free lunch box. 

This year, for National Recycling Week, we have been fortunate to have Jacqui Murray from Grow Sustainability come and run Workshops with each class about packaging. The Students may start having conversations with you about ways to change shopping habits, what goes in which bin, putting food in containers instead of plastic.

END OF YEAR CLEAN OUT

Students are reminded to bring your full bags to the Year 5 classroom to receive a ticket into the draw. Extra bags are available in the Sustainability Hub (canteen breezeway). This term we are encouraging every family to bring in at least 1 bag to help raise funds for our end of year reward day.
